Why are we building

Our church is experiencing growth within an aging facility that can no longer fully support our ministry, accessibility needs, or opportunities to serve the community well. At the same time, our city and surrounding community continue to grow and change, while many families, seniors, and individuals face increasing isolation, limited access to supportive services, and a deep need for places that foster belonging, care, and spiritual hope. If left unaddressed, these realities will limit our ability to respond faithfully to the moment God has placed before us.

Now, more than ever, West Meadows Baptist Church is called to build—not simply to expand space, but to steward what God has entrusted to us. This campus will be a centre of physical, relational, and spiritual new life: supporting families and seniors, strengthening community connections, expanding ministry, and creating spaces where the gospel is lived and shared. It is not about buildings alone, but about people encountering hope, belonging, and transformation through Jesus.
