We believe Baptism is an outward expression of an inward reality. It is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, symbolizing the believer’s union with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism does not save, but it testifies to the salvation already received by grace through faith. Through immersion in water, we proclaim that our old life of sin has been buried with Christ, and rising out of the water signifies the new life we now live in Him. It is both a step of obedience and a joyful witness to the transforming work of the gospel in the believer’s life.
